About ChangeX

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Dublin, ChangeX is an international nonprofit that connects communities with funding, practical resources and established solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges.

Its sustainability partnership with ServiceNow has supported more than 80 community projects across 11 countries and is now in its fourth year.

What Projects Are Supported?

Applicants can choose from seven project models covering:

• Government schools

• Early childhood centres

• Hospitals

• Health centres

• Community halls

• Solar-powered urban lake restoration

• Solar-powered improvements to urban parks

Each model has its own eligibility requirements, which applicants should review on the relevant ChangeX idea page.

How the Support Works

Nirmaan Organization will work with selected applicants to deliver their projects. As the designated implementation partner, Nirmaan will receive and administer the grant funding.

Applicants therefore receive support through this partner-led arrangement rather than directly managing the grant funds. The supplied announcement does not specify a grant amount.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to nonprofits, schools and public institutions that can provide documentation confirming their eligibility.

Projects must:

• Be located in Hyderabad or Bengaluru.

• Develop sustainable infrastructure using solar energy.

• Meet the requirements of the chosen project model.

• Include opportunities for ServiceNow employees to volunteer during project activation or implementation.

• Be completed within 12 months of receiving funds, with an impact report containing measurable results and qualitative findings.

1. Select a suitable project model and submit an application through ChangeX by 13 October 2026.

2. Applicants will be informed of the outcome by 3 December 2026.

3. Selected applicants must complete the required preparatory steps within 30 days, before starting their projects.

4. Work with the implementation partner to deliver the project and report its impact.
