About the Proposal

The Nasscom Foundation invites proposals from Non-profit/For-profit organizations to support mobilization, training, and placements of underprivileged youth in IT/ITeS job roles.

Key Deliverables

• Training Duration:
  • 140-165 hours of domain skilling (e.g., Domestic Data Entry Operator, Domestic IT Helpdesk Attendant).
  • 60 hours of soft skills training focusing on employability.
• Hybrid Training Model:
  • 70% face-to-face, 30% online.
• Placement Targets:
  • At least 70% placement (1120 youth) out of 1600 trained beneficiaries.
  • Average salary: ₹2-6 lakh per annum.
• Inclusion Goal:
  • 60% of beneficiaries to be women.

Project Timelines

• Commencement Date: 1st January 2025
• End Date: 31st October 2025

Eligibility Criteria for Implementation Partners

1. Geographical Focus:

   • Odisha: Paradeep, Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Badbhil
   • Maharashtra: Pune
   • Chhattisgarh: Raipur, Dantewada
   • Gujarat: Hajira

2. Domain Expertise:

   • Training in roles like Domestic Data Entry Operator and Domestic IT Helpdesk Attendant.

3. Placement Network:

   • Strong industry connections to ensure placements in relevant job roles.

4. Experience:

   • 4-5 years in CSR skilling projects.
   • 10+ years in large Government/NSDC-sponsored programs.

5. Partnerships:

   • Existing collaborations with colleges/institutions.

6. Trainer Certification:

   • SSC/TOT-certified trainers.

7. Systems and Support:

   • Mechanisms for post-placement tracking and support (minimum 3 months).

• Understanding of the Scope of Work.
• Implementation Plan and Strategy.
• Detailed Timeline.
• Financial Proposal/Budget.
• Monitoring and MIS Tools and Framework.
• Case Study Framework for documenting impact stories.
• Relevant Experience Details, including budgets, timelines, and clients/donors.
