Introduction
Objective of the RFP
The purpose of this RFP is to identify and select a specialized service provider for the redesign and management of the Nutrition Connect website, integrating relevant components and content from the Innovative Food Systems Solutions (IFSS) project.
The redesigned website should:
- Align with Nutrition Connect’s strategic objectives and GAIN’s overall mission.
- Improve user experience, branding, functionality, and accessibility.
- Strengthen the platform’s role as a leading knowledge hub for decision-makers in public-private partnerships and food systems transformation.
Background and Current Issues
The current website (Drupal 9) has usability, design, and functionality challenges. The revamp will address:
✅ Branding alignment: Adjust fonts, spacing, and branding consistency.
✅ Improved backend: Enable separate user logins, clearer publication/update dates, and better content management.
✅ Homepage and Resource Center reorganization: Enhance navigation, remove outdated content, and add clear calls to action.
✅ Better search functionality: Provide detailed, relevant search results.
✅ Video integration: Ensure seamless embedding and accessibility.
✅ Social media integration: Improve links between Nutrition Connect’s online presence and website traffic.
✅ Ergonomic UI/UX improvements: Create a modern, user-friendly interface for Nutrition Connect & IFSS websites.
✅ Enhanced Learning Platform: Upgrade the user login system with latest features for a better learning experience.
✅ Content integration: Merge the most valuable innovation-focused content from IFSS into Nutrition Connect.
The selected agency will be responsible for assessing, redesigning, and delivering a state-of-the-art website.
