About the Grant

Under the leadership of Ambassador Thomas Greminger, the GCSP’s Prize for Transformative Futures in Peace and Security was initiated by Professor Nayef Al-Rodhan and Ms Anne-Caroline Pissis Martel.

• This prize rewards groundbreaking concepts that address challenges in peace and security.
• It is open to a variety of fields, including transformative technologies, pandemics, biothreats, autonomous weapons, climate change, human rights, cybersecurity, education, and disarmament.

Prize Details

1. First Place Winner:

   • A fully funded 2-month incubation program within GCSP’s Creative Spark in Geneva (worth CHF 15,000).
   • A Certificate of Excellence.

2. Second and Third Place Winners:

   • Certificates of Recognition.

Winners will be announced in May 2025 during a public event.

Eligibility

• Open to individuals, groups, or organizations (private or public sectors).
• The concept must have exceptional potential to address peace and security challenges.
• Not eligible:
  • Current employees, fellows, and participants of GCSP or their family members.
  • Participants must wait 1 year after terminating their association with GCSP to apply.
• Applications must be submitted in English.
