Purpose of the RFP
Inviting proposals from not-for-profit organizations to implement a Fecal Sludge Management (FSM) – Waste 2 Value Initiative. The project aims to establish a Decentralized Wastewater Treatment System (DEWATS) for sustainable sanitation in Rabupura village, focusing on public health improvement and environmental protection.
Objective of the Project
- Establish a low-cost FSM plant using DEWATS for efficient fecal sludge management.
- Develop a replicable and scalable model for holistic Solid and Liquid Waste Management (SLWM).
- Promote safe sanitation practices and community engagement for sustainability.
- Conduct stakeholder capacity building and behavioral sensitization programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Not-for-Profit organizations with valid 12A & 80G and CSR 1 certificates.
- Proven expertise in Fecal Sludge Management (FSM) and related projects.
Proposal Requirements

Technical Proposal:
- A Gantt Chart with a comprehensive list of activities and timelines.
- A Theory of Change (ToC) and Log Frame Analysis (LFA) outlining objectives, activities, outcomes, and impact indicators.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan.

Financial Proposal:
- Detailed budget breakdown with explanatory notes and tax details.
- Terms of payment and tentative timeline.

Additional Documents:
- Duly filled annexures as per the RFP template.
- Indicators for impact assessment.
