- Challenges Faced by Survivors: Survivors face hurdles such as alienation, lack of basic documents, and limited access to resources like shelter and employment.
- Role of Technology: Ethical technology, such as AI, can enhance efficiency and impact in supporting survivors, but scalable and tech-focused solutions are lacking.
- Objective: Seek exceptional solutions leveraging ethical technology to improve and scale critical resources for survivors, including legal, financial, physical, psychological, and social well-being.
Eligibility:
- Invitation for Submissions: Individuals, teams, and organizations are invited to submit solutions.
- Encouragement for Survivors: Especially welcome are applications from survivors or those with proximity to human trafficking/modern slavery.
- Stage Requirement: Solutions must be at least at the prototype stage.
- Restrictions: MIT Solve cannot accept applications from individuals ordinarily resident in certain countries due to US law.
