Applications Invited for WCT-Biodiversity, Ecosystems and Endangered Species Grants Programme

The Wildlife Conservation Trust (WCT) is inviting applications for the WCT-Biodiversity, Ecosystems, and Endangered Species (WCT-BEES) Grants Programme. This initiative offers two types of small grants aimed at supporting critical conservation research and grassroots projects in India:

Grant Types

  1. Wildlife Research Small Grant:

    • Focus: Funding support for wildlife researchers focused on endangered species and/or landscapes of exceptional biodiversity value in India.
    • Preference: Projects with a core conservation component.
  2. Grassroots Conservation Small Grant:

    • Focus: Funding support for conservationists and conservation organizations working on endangered species and/or landscapes of exceptional biodiversity value in India.

Eligibility

  • Open to Indian citizens and organizations with a valid registration certificate for India operations.
  • Applicable across all states and locations in India.

Application Process

  • Deadline: August 10, 2024 (23:59 hours).
  • Submission: Download and fill the application form from the WCT website and email it to [email protected].
  • Announcement of Grantees: On or before September 10, 2024.
