Overview:
The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024 is one of India's largest scholarship initiatives, launched by the SBI Foundation under its education vertical, Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education.

Eligibility:

• Nationality: Open to Indian nationals only.
• Academic Criteria:
  • School Students: Class 6 to 12 in the current academic year, with a minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year.
  • Undergraduate Students: Pursuing an undergraduate course from a top 100 NIRF university/college or an NIT, with a minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year.
  • Postgraduate Students: Pursuing a postgraduate course from a top 100 NIRF university/college or an NIT, with a minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year.
  • IIT Students: Pursuing an undergraduate course at any IIT, with a minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year.
  • IIM Students: Pursuing MBA/PGDM courses at any IIM, with a minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year.
• Income Criteria:
  • School Students: Gross annual family income up to INR 3,00,000.
  • Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students: Gross annual family income up to INR 6,00,000. Preference will be given to those with income up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.

Scholarship Details:

• SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for School Students:
  • Classes 6 to 12: INR 15,000 each
• SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students:
  • Undergraduate Students: Up to INR 50,000
• SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Postgraduate Students:
  • Postgraduate Students: Up to INR 70,000
• SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for IIT Students:
  • Undergraduate Students from IITs: Up to INR 2,00,000
• SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for IIM Students:
  • MBA Students from IIMs: Up to INR 7,50,000

Additional Criteria:

• Reservation: 50% of the slots are reserved for female applicants.
• Preference: Given to students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.
