About Srinivasan Services Trust (SST)

SST, the social arm of TVS Motor Company and TVS Holdings, began working in villages in the mid-1990s. Evolving from a philanthropy model to a community-centered approach, SST now operates in 2,500 villages across India, with 2,000 villages in Tamil Nadu. SST's development model emphasizes:

Consultancy for Entrepreneurship Development Program

Location: Sirkali Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District
Participants: 100 rural women entrepreneurs (in four batches)

3. Access to Finance
4. Supply Chain Management
5. Value Addition and Processing
6. Sales and Marketing
7. Business Plans
8. Government Schemes and Services for Entrepreneurship

Important Dates:

• Pre-Bid Queries Submission: November 22, 2024 (email only)
• Proposal Submission Deadline: November 25, 2024 (by 6:00 pm via email)

Proposal Submission:
Submit technical and financial bids separately to ramesh.s@tvssst.org and shanmughasundhar@tvssst.org.
Note: The financial proposal must be password protected; password will be requested later.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants: Individual consultants, teams, or registered organizations.
• Training Experience: At least 3 completed training programs in relevant areas, focusing on women entrepreneurs.
• Language Requirement: Fluency in Tamil.
• Preferred Qualification: Certified Master Trainers for EDP programs.

Lead Trainer Requirements:

• Educational Background: Postgraduate or higher in Business Administration, Rural Management, Entrepreneurship, Agribusiness, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in training and capacity building for women entrepreneurs.

Standard Terms and Conditions

• Validity Period of Proposal: 90 days after submission date. SST may request extensions as needed.
• Quality and Delivery: Proposals must meet quality specifications as per SST’s Terms of Reference (ToR).
• Proposal Submission Responsibility: Ensure timely submission via email. Late submissions will not be considered.
• Compliance: Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance of SST’s General Terms and Conditions.
• Financial Proposal: Submit as per the prescribed format (Annexure-1), signed and stamped by the authorized signatory.

Other Key Points

• No Obligation for SST to Accept Proposals: SST is not required to accept any proposal or bear costs associated with proposal preparation.
• Evaluation and Selection: The proposal offering the best value for money that meets evaluation criteria will be selected.
• Right to Reject: SST reserves the right to reject any proposal without explanation.
