About the Fellowship

The Viksit Bharat Fellowship by the BlueKraft Digital Foundation invites applications from individuals across diverse disciplines and backgrounds, whether seasoned professionals or newcomers, who wish to contribute to India's journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

The fellowship offers flexibility, allowing participants to contribute while maintaining their current jobs, making it an ideal opportunity for those balancing professional responsibilities with nation-building efforts.

Objectives

Applicants will contribute to India’s development narrative across various sectors by using their subject-matter expertise. Deliverables can include:

• Standard Books: Non-fiction on historical analyses, policy studies, economic evaluations, etc.
• Articles: Opinion pieces, research studies, policy reviews, and cultural commentaries.
• Case Studies: Documenting successful initiatives and impacts.
• Coffee Table Books: Visual storytelling of progress and change.
• Research Papers: Published in journals to highlight grassroots movements and innovative solutions.

• Governance in India: Engaging citizens, transparency, flagship schemes.
• Defence & Foreign Policy: Atmanirbharta in defense, border infrastructure, India’s global strategy.
• Economic Progress: MSMEs, manufacturing, supply chains, banking reforms.
• Social Welfare: Empowering marginalized groups, women-led development, public health.
• Infrastructure: India’s digital public infrastructure, physical growth.
• Northeast India: Comprehensive development and integration.
• Climate Action: Renewable energy, India’s climate agenda.
• Technology & Entrepreneurship: Startups, India as a tech hub.
• Cultural Resurgence: Revival of cultural identity, blending tradition with modernity.
• Empowering the Youth: Role of India’s youth in driving social and economic development.

• BlueKraft Associate Fellows: Early-career professionals.
• BlueKraft Senior Fellows: Emerging leaders with proven expertise.
• BlueKraft Distinguished Fellows: Recognized experts and specialists.

Stipend:

• Associate Fellows: ₹75,000/month
• Senior Fellows: ₹1,25,000/month
• Distinguished Fellows: ₹2,00,000/month

The fellowship spans one year, with virtual engagement and up to one month of in-person activities, including workshops, mentorship, and networking.

Eligibility Criteria

• Global Reach: Open to applicants worldwide, aged 18 or older, with a strong interest in India's development.

For Associate Fellows:

• Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated interest or experience in a relevant field.

For Senior Fellows:

• Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s in exceptional cases) and 5-15 years of experience or published works.

For Distinguished Fellows:

• Renowned subject matter experts or professionals with 15+ years of experience or a strong publication record.

Selection Criteria

• Application Review: A two-step process conducted by a panel of leaders and professionals.
• Evaluation: Based on proposal quality, creativity, vision, and alignment with fellowship goals.
