The "RFP for Invitation for Collaboration with Training Partner for Project SAKSHAM" outlines the Automotive Skills Development Council's (ASDC) plan to collaborate with training partners for empowering women in the automotive sector. Below are the key details:

About Project SAKSHAM

  1. Objective: To train 20,000 women PAN India in automotive skills and provide placement assistance.

  2. Focus Areas:

    • Skilling women in diverse automotive job roles such as sales, service, and emerging areas like EV maintenance.
    • Holistic development through technical training, soft skills, workplace readiness, and financial literacy.
  3. Phase 2: Builds upon Phase 1 with a larger reach and impact under Hero MotoCorp’s CSR initiative in collaboration with ASDC.


List of Job Roles and Training Details

The project covers 8 job roles with training durations ranging from 330 to 570 hours:

  • Two Wheeler Service Assistant (390 hours, Level 3)
  • Electric Vehicle Service Assistant (390 hours, Level 3)
  • Automotive Sales Consultant (510 hours, Level 4)
  • Automotive Service Advisor (570 hours, Level 5), among others.

Scope of Work for Training Partners

  1. Infrastructure & Training Delivery:

    • Ensure ASDC-standard training infrastructure.
    • Conduct mobilization, counseling, hands-on training, and practical industry exposure.
    • Provide refreshment and certified trainers.
  2. Placement:

    • Provide 80% placement assistance.
    • Support candidates with job preparation and track placements for 3 months post-training.
  3. Reporting:

    • Submit weekly and monthly progress reports.
    • Maintain detailed records of training outcomes.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. At least 3 years of experience in vocational training.
  2. Proven track record in skill development projects.
  3. Adequate infrastructure, certified trainers, and ability to operate across India.
  4. Placement agreements with industry partners.

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

  1. Number of candidates trained/placed in the last 3 years.
  2. Turnover and operational scale.
  3. Industry and government projects executed.
  4. Number of certified trainers and training centers.

    • Affidavit of not being blacklisted.
    • Detailed technical capability statements (Govt. and CSR projects).

Project Cost
