Since 1st November 2012, it has operated as an independent Centre of NIELIT, excelling in executing turnkey IT Projects involving computerization for hospitals and Government offices in Delhi.


About the EOI

Project Title: Employability Enhancement & Livelihood Training Program (EELTP) of SC/ST & EWS (Women) Youth through Capacity Building and Skill Development in IECT Training in NCT of Delhi (Except North West Delhi).

NIELIT, Delhi Centre, an Autonomous Scientific Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), invites EOI from NIELIT Accredited Institutes in the Electronics and IT Sectors in NCT of Delhi (except North West Delhi) for partnering in the EELTP project.


Scope of the Project

Objective: Capacity building/Skill development of SC/ST, EWS (Women) youth in IT and Electronics Sectors to enhance employability and livelihood in most SC/ST populous districts of India by imparting training in NSQF aligned courses.

Background: The aim is to create a skilled workforce with updated skills, knowledge, and recognized qualifications for decent employment. The focus is on increasing the productivity and employability of the workforce (wage and self-employed) in both organized and unorganized sectors, with a special emphasis on youth, women, and disadvantaged sections.


Duration and Target of the Project

Target: Train 523 youths from districts in NCT of Delhi (Central Delhi, New Delhi, North Delhi, North East Delhi, Shahdara, South Delhi, South East Delhi, West Delhi) on 11 NSQF Aligned skill development courses in the area of IECT over a period of 3 years.

  • Certified Artificial Intelligence (AI) Associate "Upskilling"
  • Assembly & Maintenance of Personal Computer
  • Certified Cloud Computing and Virtualization Expert
  • Certified Data Entry and Office Assistant (Upskilling)
  • Certified Computer Application Accounting and Publishing Assistant
  • Internet of Things (IoT) Assistant
  • Internet of Things (IoT) Associate
  • O-Level (IT)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Promote the project/program at District Level.
  • Actively participate in selecting beneficiaries/candidates.
  • Conduct training and support in examinations as per Qualification File of courses.
  • Guide students in training & certification matters.
  • Submit invoices and requisite documents to NIELIT Center.
  • Submit MIS Reports as required.

Eligibility

  • Only O/A/B/C Level Accredited Institutes are eligible to apply.
  • Institutes not registered for NSQF aligned courses (other than NIELIT “O” Level) must affiliate with NIELIT for required courses as per the procedure in the ‘Handbook for NIELIT’s NSQF Aligned Courses’.

How to Apply

  • Submit a duly signed and stamped copy of the EOI document along with filled Annexure-II, Annexure-III, and Annexure-IV, supporting documents, and payment details to NIELIT, Delhi Centre.
  • Ensure every page is signed and stamped by the authorized person of the Bidder.
