Overview: The World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) invites children and youth across India, aged 10 – 18 years and 19 – 25 years, to participate in the Youth Climate Conclave (YCC) Photography Competition. This competition aims to raise awareness about climate change through the powerful medium of photography. Participants will have the opportunity to use their digital skills to spread their message on a global scale, engaging diverse audiences in crucial environmental discussions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Categories:
  • 10 to 18 years
  • 19 to 25 years
• Participation: Open to children and youth across India, regardless of caste, race, gender, physical ability, or any other distinctions
• Entry Limit: One entry per participant; no restriction on the number of students from schools and colleges
• Theme: Climate Action for the Future We Want!
• Photograph Requirements:
  • Must be original and express the participant’s interpretation of the theme
  • High-resolution (2 MB or more) in JPG format with at least 200 dpi at 2,000 pixels
  • Must include a captivating tagline (max 15 words)
  • Should convey optimistic and meaningful messages, avoiding doomsday scenarios
• Judging Criteria:
  • Resolution
  • Clarity of the Photograph
  • Meaningfulness and Impactfulness
  • Screening for plagiarism (will lead to immediate disqualification if detected)

Submission Details:

• Originality: The photograph and its accompanying description must be the original creation of the applicant.
• Disqualification: Any photograph containing obscene, provocative, or objectionable content will not be considered.
