The India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) invites proposals for Neighbourhood Engagements under Project 560. Proposal Requirements:

1. Description of the Neighborhood: Include details about the people, history, shopping areas, housing patterns, community centers, and cultural practices that characterize the neighborhood.
2. Project Details: Outline the planned activities and the participants involved.
3. Submission: Send the proposal and supporting materials in a single email (max 25 MB) to [email protected] with the subject line: "Application for Project 560 (Neighbourhood Engagements)."

2. Budget:

• Funding: Applicants can request financial support of up to Rs 35,000 for their projects. This budget should cover all necessary expenses related to the execution of the project.

3. Who Can Apply?:

• Eligibility: The program is open to individuals based in Bangalore. Both the applicant and any collaborators must be Indian citizens. The project encourages diversity among participants and welcomes proposals from people of various backgrounds and communities.

4. Proposal Submission:

• Content: The proposal should include a detailed description of the neighborhood, highlighting aspects like the people, history, shopping areas, housing patterns, community centers, and cultural practices that define its unique identity. Additionally, the proposal should outline the planned activities and identify potential participants.
• Language: Proposals can be written in any Indian language, including English.

5. Selection Process:

• Shortlisting and Interviews: Shortlisted applicants will be informed by September 2024. They will need to participate in a detailed discussion with the IFA Team. The selection decision made by IFA will be final, and all selected projects will be implemented by IFA.
