Objective:

  • Develop knowledge management and communications strategies to facilitate networking and knowledge exchange among stakeholders.

Thematic Areas:

  1. Biodiversity Conservation

    • Mitigation of GHG emissions, promotion of renewable energy, energy efficiency, circular economy initiatives.
  3. Land Degradation
    • Integrated land resource management, restoration of degraded lands, sustainable use of ecosystems.

Scope of Work:

  • Develop knowledge management and communications strategy.
  • Curate and organize SGP Learning Forum workshops.
  • Train community-based organizations (CBOs) on information collection and documentation.
  • Maintain e-Learning platform and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Develop flagship publication and multimedia content (videos, graphics, case studies).
  • Disseminate knowledge products through various channels and platforms.
  • Facilitate learning exchanges through south-south cooperation.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the National Coordinator.

Funding Information:

  • Maximum grant amount: USD 75,000 for all three landscapes.
  • Detailed budgetary estimate required.

Duration: September 2024 - December 2026

Location and Target Beneficiaries:

  • Targeted landscapes: Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Meghalaya.
  • Collaboration with local government partners, NGOs/CBOs/CSOs, and Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to Non-governmental Organizations, Academic and Research Organizations.
  • Must be registered as society or trust and on the DARPAN portal of NITI Aayog.
  • At least 5 years of experience in knowledge management and capacity building.
  • Presence in the project landscapes identified under SGP OP7.
  • Financial stability with an average turnover of not less than INR 1 crore in the last three financial years.
  • Availability of key professionals with relevant expertise.

Competencies Required:

  • Capacity for fostering community knowledge management.
  • Experience in communication, outreach, and working with community-led initiatives.
  • Ability to develop a community 'share and learn' platform.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in crafting policy and communication materials for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
