About the Organization

Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a public sector undertaking registered under the Indian Companies Act 2013 as a Section 8 ‘Not for profit Company’. BIRAC serves as an interface agency of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, India. BIRAC's mission is to stimulate, foster, and enhance the strategic research and innovation capabilities of the Indian biotech industry, particularly SMEs, to make India globally competitive in biotech innovation and entrepreneurship and to create affordable products and services.

About the Proposal

BIRAC invites bids for engaging an Event Management Agency for Global Bio-India (GBI) 2024, scheduled to be held from 12th to 14th September 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

• Conceptualize, Design, and Develop Content for Event Planning and Execution
• On-Site Registration and Information Desk
• Registration Kits
• Exhibition
• Theme Pavilion
• Lounges
• Entry Gates
• Branding & Publicity
• Stage & Media Riser
• Sounds, Lights & Visuals
• Electrical
• Furniture
• Food & Beverages
• Décor & Artistic Installations
• Event Management Staff / Manpower
• Overall Event Management Services
• Live Streaming, Photography & Videography
• Other Utilities
• Licenses and Permissions

Eligibility Criteria

• The bidder must be an Indian legal entity registered as a Company/LLP/Society/Partnership firm/Proprietorship firm under respective acts in India.
• The bidder must have a fully operational office/branch office/head office in Delhi/NCR.
• The bidder must be registered in India with taxation and other administrative authorities.
• The bidder must have 5 years of work experience in similar Event/Exhibition work.
• The bidder must have executed Event/Exhibition work on at least 3 projects of value not less than Rs. 1 crore each in the last 3 years.
• The bidder must have an average annual total turnover of Rs. 32 crores during the last three financial years (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23).
• The bidder must have a Net worth of not less than Rs. 1 crore as per the audited financial statement of the FY 2022-23.
• The bidder should have completed similar work for a minimum of three Central Govt./State Govt./PSUs/Govt. bodies in India in the preceding five years.
• The bidder should not have been blacklisted by any Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking, Govt. of India.
• The bidder should not be involved in any major litigation that may impact the delivery of services as required under this Bid and in the execution of the agreement.
• The bidder should not have pre-exited or terminated any contract with or by BIRAC in the last 5 years as of the date of submission.
• The bidder should not submit a bid as Consortium/Joint Venture.
