Job Description: Accounts Executive
Looking for an extremely trustworthy individual with good communication skills and a team player who can adapt to new tasks and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry into TALLY software and physical filing of vouchers and supporting documents.
- Updating Finance dashboard monthly with accuracy.
- Bank reconciliation for all bank accounts periodically.
- Processing monthly payroll according to donor allocations; handling statutory compliances such as TDS, PF, ESI, PT.
- Preparing TDS workings, generating challans for monthly payments, and preparing TDS returns for quarterly compliance.
- Financial utilization reports preparation, tracking over/underutilization of donor funds, and reporting to the Line Manager.
- Handling petty cash and daily accounting tasks in Tally, including journal vouchers, donor receipts, purchase, sale, etc.
- Month-end closing of books of accounts, reconciliation of ledgers, and journal entry investigation.
- Assisting the Line Manager with financial reports and resolving queries during statutory and donor audits.
- Updating donor/vendor/PFMS portals regularly.
- Strengthening internal processes in coordination with inter-departmental teams.
- Ownership and responsibility of work with good communication and soft skills.
- Building and maintaining harmonious working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, depending on the position's requirements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (functions, formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for interactions with colleagues, donors, and bank officials.
