Grant for Agroecology Program (GAP) Fund
Objective:
- Manage Investment Fund: On behalf of International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD)
- Focus: Promote agroecology-based value chains.
- Support: Investment support for integrated agroecology-based sustainable production systems.
- Beneficiaries: Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and Producer Organization Enterprises (POEs)
- Aim: Improve businesses, enhance agroecological outcomes, and provide benefits to small producers.
Funding:
- Range: INR 1 Crore to INR 2 Crore
- Purpose: Assist high-impact business projects in Agroecology Value Chains.

- Other producer collective enterprises

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs):
- For-profit enterprises linked to agroecology value chains
- Includes start-ups and individual entrepreneurs
- Must be registered

Non-profit Organizations/NGOs:
- Can assist with application preparation for POEs but cannot apply directly.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Type of Entity: Must be a POE or registered MSE
- Operation Duration: At least 2 years as of the application date
- Financials: Audited financial statements for the past 2 years
- Co-funding: Proof of 30% co-funding
- Coverage: Minimum of 1000 small and marginal producers
- Project Location: Open pan India
