TNC India Solutions Private Limited (NCIS), a subsidiary, is dedicated to providing conservation research, consulting, technical, and advisory services for preserving biodiversity, climate resilience, and environmental health in India.
Background
The Indian Sundarbans, forming the largest stretch of mangroves globally, supports diverse flora and fauna, including the Royal Bengal Tiger. Non-protected areas of the Sundarbans face threats from anthropogenic factors and climate change, leading to mangrove habitat degradation. NCIS aims to restore these habitats using a science-based model with co-benefits like biodiversity conservation and community livelihood support.

Bidding Process
NCIS invites bids for the ecological restoration project titled “Restoring Mangroves in Non-protected Areas of Sundarbans, India.” NCIS reserves the right to alter or cancel the bidding for any cluster.
Place for Performance
Non-protected areas of the Sundarbans in West Bengal, India.
Period for Performance
One year: From 01 December 2024 to 30 November 2025, with possible extensions based on performance and funding.
