Purpose of the Campaign:

The National Awareness Campaign aims to promote energy conservation across India. A key activity in this campaign is a painting competition for students at School, State, and National levels. The initiative aims to:

  • Raise awareness about the need for energy conservation among children.
  • Involve parents through their children’s participation.
  • Focus on the domestic sector for energy-saving awareness.

Since 2013, students from higher classes (7th, 8th, and 9th standards) have also been included along with the existing classes (4th, 5th, and 6th standards).

  • First Prize (Gold Medal):
    • Group A (5th, 6th, 7th standards): Rs.50,000
    • Group B (8th, 9th, 10th standards): Rs.50,000
  • Second Prize (Silver Medal):
    • Group A: Rs.30,000
    • Group B: Rs.30,000
  • Third Prize (Bronze Medal):
    • Group A: Rs.20,000
    • Group B: Rs.20,000
  • Appreciation Prize:
    • Group A: Rs.7,500
    • Group B: Rs.7,500

National Level Prizes:

  • First Prize (Gold Medal):
    • Group A: Rs.1,00,000
    • Group B: Rs.1,00,000
  • Second Prize (Silver Medal):
    • Group A: Rs.50,000
    • Group B: Rs.50,000
  • Third Prize (Bronze Medal):

  • Appreciation Prize:

Additional Rewards:

  • National winners will receive laptops/tablets.
  • Winners will get an opportunity for a study tour within India.

  • Group A: 5th, 6th, and 7th standard students.
  • Group B: 8th, 9th, and 10th standard students.
