RFP - Video Development for Project: Rural & Urban Landscape Free of Dry & Plastic Waste

About the Organization:

• Centre for Environment Education (CEE) is a national institution established under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Govt. of India.
• Mission: Promote environmental awareness and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

About the Proposal:

• Project: 'Rural & Urban Landscape Free of Dry & Plastic Waste'.
• Locations: 06 Urban locations and 03 Rural Districts across India.
• Partners: Urban/Rural Local Bodies, State Pollution Control Boards, MoEFCC, Safai Mitras, Service Providers, Recyclers, SBM, MoHUA, MoJS, and other stakeholders.

Objective of the Assignment:

• Produce 4 videos showcasing the project across the following locations:
  • Samastipur, Bihar
  • Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir
  • Nirmal & Mahabubnagar, Telangana (one video)
  • Ranchi, Jharkhand
• Deliverables:
  • 04 videos in English
  • 03 videos in Hindi
  • 01 video in Telugu

Scope of Work:

• Initial Meetings: Discussions to understand project requirements.
• Concept & Script: Develop creative concepts and script with CEE's input.
• Scene Design/Storyboard: Approve and develop visual designs and scenes.
• Production:
  • Shooting field video using HD quality equipment.
  • Incorporating visuals, music, and voiceovers (with compliance to copyright laws).
  • Drone shots of Material Recovery Facility (MRF)/Material Recycling Center (MRC).
  • Final video with a duration of 4-5 minutes.

Video Specifications:

• Type: Real images and video bytes of stakeholders, shot professionally.
• Duration: 04 minutes.
• Languages: English with subtitles in local languages.
• Number of Videos: 04 English, 03 Hindi, 01 Telugu.
• Frame Size:
  • Standard Size: 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • Mobile compatible: 1280 x 720 pixels

Deliverables:

• Concept, Script, Storyboard: Approved by CEE.
• Field Video & Drone Footage: Capturing real activities.
• Final Video: Delivered in original editable format and ready-to-use format.
• Versions: High-definition and lighter versions for YouTube.
• Music Licensing: Original music with proof of usage rights.

Eligibility:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in videography, video editing, and production.
  • Experience with waste management, informal sectors, and working with waste pickers.
  • Experience with Municipal Corporations, Urban/Environment Boards, or Pollution Control Boards is preferred.
• Legal Requirements: Valid legal identification for the firm.
